We make the business system the source for your web shop: articles, prices and stock out, orders back in.
Specter holds the articles, the purchase prices, the calculations and the stock. It is the picture of the business you invoice and account from, and usually the most accurate one you have.
Even so, the web shop often takes its figures from somewhere else: a spreadsheet, an ageing export, or the memory of whoever last created the product.
We turn that around. Specter becomes the source, the website becomes the mirror, and nobody has to keep two registers straight in their head.
Specter is a business system, not a shop window. Our job is to make its contents usable outside the system without changing how you work inside it.
We read from and write to Specter through the system's integration interfaces and place our engine in between. That is where the work neither side does on its own happens: matching, cleaning and translating between field structures.
From there we connect Specter to WooCommerce, Abicart or Shopify, depending on where you sell. Change platform later and you change the endpoint – the underlying data stays.
We work with bike shops every day and know their ranges, suppliers and seasons. Running Specter in a bike shop therefore gets you more than a pipe between two systems.
Specter keeps the business in order – we make sure customers can see it.
